Resources & support

A community that cares starts with us.

There are many ways to lend a hand: sharing your time or skills, giving goods or financial support, or telling someone about SOS. Choose the way that feels right for you.

01Fundraising

Two fundraisers, two purposes.

Thank you for considering a contribution. Choose the fundraiser that reflects what you'd like to support; SOS development and J's care are separate purposes. Donations are processed through an external platform, not on this website.

SOS Operations

Save Our Seniors

Your generosity supports the emerging SOS initiative, including organizational development and preparing to reach more senior neighbors. It helps SOS build capacity; it does not promise a particular service or outcome.

J's Care

Care for J

This separate fundraiser supports J's ongoing care. Helping him inspired Caitlin to create SOS. Caitlin reports these funds are deposited into a trust account dedicated to his care. They are not SOS operating funds.

Save Our Seniors is a community-funded volunteer initiative. It is not currently a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and contributions are not tax-deductible. No payment information is collected on this website.

02Give Items

Wishlists for household essentials.

Everyday essentials can make a home more comfortable. SOS is preparing a wishlist for future needs, including bedding, furniture, kitchen and bathroom basics, and new clothing.

Wishlist links will be shared here soon. Items donated may be held for future needs rather than distributed right away.

03Senior Resources

A little help finding the next step.

Knowing where to turn can make a difference. We're preparing a directory of verified organizations offering help with food, housing, transportation, healthcare, caregiving, and more.

Our verified resource list is being prepared and will appear here soon.

Third-party programs set their own services and eligibility. SOS isn't affiliated with them and can't guarantee assistance.
